The MBox-VH is an embedded PC designed for embedded applications, particularly well-suited for scenarios with space constraints. Based on Intel Atom® E3800 (Bay Trail-I) processor technology, it offers a compact design that makes it ideal for installations with limited housing dimensions. Its versatile housing design allows it to function as both a desktop device and fit into control cabinets with DIN rail mounting. This adaptability extends to branding, as it supports individual ODM branding, providing flexibility in color, logo, and labeling.

 

One of its standout features is its expandability with 2x Mini PCIe slots, enabling engineers to add functionality as needed. High-speed IO options, including 2x Gbit Ethernet ports, 2x USB ports, and 2x Mini DisplayPort interfaces, ensure efficient connectivity. Additionally, it offers extended connection options with 2x RS-232 ports or custom alternatives, enhancing versatility.

 

Despite its compact size, the MBox-VH is optimized for low power consumption, making it energy-efficient and suitable for continuous operation. This embedded PC is highly customizable, allowing engineers to tailor it to their specific requirements, whether for embedded server and gateway applications, entry-level PCs, or other demanding use cases. Developed in partnership with Intel, it benefits from Intel Atom® processor technology, ensuring reliability and high-performance computing for FPGA-based projects
