The TQMa93xxLA Embedded Module, built upon the i.MX 93xx by NXP, offers an advanced solution for embedded computing with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. Powered by the Arm® Cortex®-A55 architecture, this module integrates a Machine Learning Accelerator capable of processing up to 0.5 TOPS, making it ideal for AI and vision-based tasks.

 

Key features include high-speed communication with 2x Gbit Ethernet (including 1x TSN support) and 2x USB 2.0 interfaces, all while maintaining low power consumption at just 2W. The module prioritizes data security through integrated security functions and leverages the Cortex®-M33 controller for real-time operations.

 

With memory options of up to 2GB LPDDR4 RAM, up to 256 GB eMMC, and a range of communication interfaces, including CAN FD, UART, I²C, SPI, and more, the TQMa93xxLA is versatile and adaptable.

 

Measuring 38 x 38 mm and featuring a robust LGA (Land Grid Array) design with 281 pins, this module is suitable for demanding environments. It operates within standard and extended temperature ranges and is supported by Linux and FreeRTOS.

  • The core of the STKa9xxLA set is the TQMa93xxLA module with a Dual Cortex®-A55 CPU. The components contained in the starter kit constitute a modular system enabling you to develop your own product ideas. Development of graphic interfaces can be started immediately using the prepared combination of closed display unit and starter kit that are matched to each other. To develop your own hardware you can use the certified and qualified circuit components of the starter kit in your own designs.
