Calxeda March 2013 Update

Heading - TBD

March was another exciting month for Calxeda. On March 12, respected technology review team AnandTech published an analysis of the Calxeda EnergyCore-based Viridis microserver. To summarize AnandTech's analysis: "[W]e feel that the Calxeda's ECX-1000 server node is revolutionary technology...8W at the wall per server node—exactly what Calxeda claimed—is nothing short of remarkable, because it means that the 48 server node machine, which is also available, is even more efficient." Please be sure to read the full review from AnandTech.

Also this month, System Fabric Works introduced System FabriCore480 through Its partnership with Calxeda. This fully racked system includes 480 Calxeda EnergyCore SoCs with 1920 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A9 cores and provides organizations the ability to implement a fully configured Ultra Dense, Ultra Low Power Computing Platform with total power consumption of under 3 Kilowatts when configured diskless.

There is no doubt that the momentum is continuing to build for Calxeda technology. Keep reading for more updates on Calxeda, and as always, contact us for more information.
